Apple announced the release of its upgraded iMac line.  The new iMac computers, all of which run the powerful Snow Leopard operating system, have new processor architecture, faster performance, better graphics, and larger hard drive storage space.  Accompanying the announcement, Apple unveiled a new device, the Apple Magic Trackpad accessory, which lets users utilize finger motion controls just like an iPad, iPhone, and iPod, bringing enhanced control to the iMac experience.

As one of the highest luxury perfume brands in the world, Amouage fragrances can be difficult to find at a local store.  One option is to buy directly from the Amouage boutique’s online retail site, which is based in London.  The current price for a 50 ml bottle of Jubilation XXV is €180 and the 100 ml bottle retails for €220 (just shy of $300 in United States dollars), clearly making the 100 ml bottle a much better value for the money with twice as much product for only €40 more.

Amouage Jubilation XXV Final Review

Amouage Jubilation XXV is an intoxicating blend of rich ingredients such as frankincense, myrrh, cinnamon, rose, cedarwood, honey, and more. It is produced by Amouage, the official perfumer to the King of Oman, and retails for roughly $300 per bottle in the United States.

Overall, I give Amouage Jubilation XXV rave reviews.  Around the office, we quickly used the samples and decided it was time to buy a bottle for our personal collection.  There is a related product, Amouage Jubilation 25, which is marketed for women that we do not recommend unless you appreciate heavier scents that will immediately remind western noses of fragrances for older, senior ladies.

There is no doubt that within the next few weeks, I will buy a bottle of this magnificent fragrance for myself.

Guerlain, which is among the oldest perfumers in the world, is a famous high-end french fragrance house that was founded in 1828 by Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain.  The company’s flagship store was built at at 15, rue de la Paix in Paris and the Guerlain brand became so highly regarded that the founder was named as the official perfumer to the King of France, granting him access to the throne rooms of Europe, where he blended custom fragrances for Queen Victoria, Queen Isabella II, and others, giving it the same status in the fragrance world as the House of Creed.

To celebrate the success of the House of Guerlain, the firm has created a coffret of 18 fragrances, each in a 1 ounce bottle inspired by the classic Guerlain label.  Only 60 of these limited edition luxury collector’s items were made for the United States, making them a true find among the haute couture and perfume circles.  They retail at Neiman Marcus for $3,750.00.
